Rolling clothes vs folding when packing

I've heard if you roll clothes when packing instead of folding them, it will eliminate a lot of wrinkles. Has anyone here tried it and is this true?

Also heard it leaves more room for packing.

Hello,I've tried it and it worked.You might want to try Eagle Creek Pack-It cubes.I bought them from Ebags for my first cruise and other trips.I used cubes for T-shirts,shorts,half cubes for under garments. I bought different colors for members of my family, and you put it away after the cruise,use it again next time,I mean it lasts forever.My son loved it,all he did is rolled his T-shirt ,short,under garment& socks to put in those cube and throw in his suitcase(it saved room too )when we get to the cabin all he had to do was unpack his luggage and throw the cubes on the racks in the closet!Hope this help!

It works wonders! I've also heard people use the space saver bags and that's another big help. Rolling clothes does help reduce wrinkles. I can pack more efficiently, as well as, bring more quantity of clothes.(My husband really loves that!)

I'm kind of lazy. I pack everything on the hangers. It saves time unpacking on the ship, lots of other things I would rather be doing.

I've tried lots of different methods and find that with the unlocked bags, someone always opens it, shakes things all about, mixes up everything and then shakes it one more time so that everything looks like it just came out of a cloths basket that sat around for a week or so..The cubes sound interesting and I do remember from my military duty that rolling does save room and less wrinkles.

NOT TRUE....I tried that a couple of timess...wrinkles anyway. I used those space bags...and you can get alot more in your suit case or take a smaller suit case with more stuff in it...either way...they work.
