Thank you Dwayne. Over the years I've noticed that if I book a less expensive cabin, I tend to spend less all the way around. Conversely, if I book a better cabin, I spend more for everything. And without ever planing it, the ratio seems to be about 50% above the cruise fare for everything else.

I am so glad to see others spend as I do on a cruise. It tickles me to no end those who brag on the last day, how they spent SO little on their sea pass cards. I wonder if they realy enjoyed themselves when pinching a penny on a cruise vacation, but I tend to keep my mouth shut (so VERY hard), and take it all in with a grain of salt. A $100 per day is an average for me.

Geez, I hope people don't think I'm a cheap-skate because I said I like the days I don't spend a dime; I wasn't aware I was being so obvious. Does it really show?

Don't feel bad Sonny. We seldom spend much on our cruises either since we're cruising 3 to 4 times a year & really don't need the pirate photo's, dvd's, t-shirts etc. After all the years of cruising it becomes repetitious to say the least. We're not much of drinkers either & usually donate much of our Princess bar setup to our cabin steward. So what does that leave to spend money on? The Casino? Yea right!

We usually bring $1000 cash for a 7-night cruise. We always stay the night before at a nearby hotel and that eats up a little of the cash. Our ship charges usually are in the $1100 range including auto-tips, and we usually end up bringing around half the cash home with us. And we'll add about $400 or so to credit cards while ashore.

All that said - I guess I am in the $100 per person per day boat too.
