Carla, I echo Nancy's very eloquent reply. I have sailed on the Elation (7-day Mexican Riviera) and had a very enjoyable cruise. Each cruise line has its own personality and Carnival's is distinct. I guarantee you that your boys will have a blast and I suspect your Mom and Aunt will, as well. It sounds like you could have a great time just documenting the events as they unfold during the cruise. I can see another reality TV program in the future "Cruising with Carla"...it could be a series...VBG.

I can't wait to read your review!!! Once you post it, I am going to pour a glass of chardonnay and sit down for a sidesplitting laugh.

Wow, I just read the review that Carla pointed to. What a nightmare for those folks. I can't imagine that it got that far out of control and no one did anything about it.

When I was a teenager in Los Angeles (no, it wasn't in the 1800s) the local radio station (KRLA) sponsored the KRLA Zuma Beach Party. It was supposed to be something family oriented, but turned into a scene as described in the review. It went on for a couple of hours until the police finally shut it down. The radio station did nothing to alter the behavior and in fact, encouraged it.

I just read the NCL review also - How awful!!! I am quite surprised that such antics were not dealt with more harshly by the cruise line. Well, at least be consoled by the fact that in all my Carnival cruises - I have never witnessed a display such as that.
