When should I book my flight to Puerto Rico for Aug 2008? This year, flights for August were really cheap around 3 months prior - like around $200-300 (before tax). I'm looking for Aug 2008 and they are much more expensive! Will the prices go down if I wait?

Air prices flucuate like the gas prices. Keep an eye on them and when you see the price range is in the ball park your willing to pay then book.

Try joining a site like travelalerts which not only provides a weekly summary of sales for cruises, flights, resorts, etc. but also will notify you when there are seat sales on airlines, or cruiselines.

I have seen flights to San Juan P.R. for as low as $99.00 with US Airways...my next southern cruise I want to try and find flights priced low and then see if I can coordinate a cruise with those travel dates....not sure if it's possible yet?

I think the real question is whether you can find the low air fare and a reasonable cruise fare at the same time. Could be a lot of luck there!
