We took 2,000 pictures! My husband loves to take scenic pictures; and, of course, everywhere you turn in Alaska is scenic. I have spent hours downloading them and going through them. They are beautiful! I selected 250 to have printed for our album. It was so hard to choose.
I hope that you can go to Alaska some day. It is sure an expensive proposition though! We went under the assumption that this would be a one-time trip so we splurged on excursions, salmon dinners at nice restaurants, etc.
However, now that we have been there, we want to go back! We have witnessed Mt. McKinley and Denali at it's very best, so we would probably just do the cruise next time, which would be more affordable.
At any rate, it's a beautiful place and I know your wait will be worthwhile.
I'm so glad you had a terrific cruise. Your review makes me want to book an Alaska cruise right away. Hmmm, only if I had money. lol

Thank you all for the nice emails! Dave, I am sure your experience will be as exciting and thrilling as ours. I will be anxious to hear all about it when you get back.
Sandy, we loved the ship. The Coral Princess is beautiful and the food and accommadations were excellent. We were disappointed in some of the service aspects of Princess, but I know from experience that this can happen on any cruise line. It won't stop us from using Princess again.
I picked up the pictures yesterday and am getting ready to put them into an album. It is such a thrill to relive the trip through the pictures. We have a couple pictures of Mt. McKinley that I want to frame.
By the way, I can't remember who suggested that when we go on the White Pass Railroad, we should sit on the left, but I owe them a debt of gratitude. The views from the left side were fantastic! We took the Best of Skagway tour, which took us up the mountain and then we took a bus back down, stopping at Liarsville and the Red Onion. Being on the left side of the train was so much more scenic than the right side.
Well, back to the real world--we have to mow and weed-whack! Thanks again for the nice emails.
Welcome back NadineM I am so very glad to hear it turned out to be such an awesome experience! You waited so long, the weather cooperated, and you remained uninjured---FANTASTIC! I hope you have time to upload some of your pictures. Especially, the glacier calving and the whale breeching! Now you get to look forward to your Panama Canal cruise!
