There has been a conversation in the Carnival Cruise Line Forum about Teenagers on ships and the endorsement of walkie talkies for the purpose of staying in touch on a cruise ship. The question is, who makes the best walkiie talkies and where can they be purchased? How much do they cost?

Hi there. We're going on the Dawn Princess Nov. 30th and just yesterday purchased FSR radios to keep in touch while on board. Would walkie talkies be better? Also we were wondering what the reception would be like at sea?

Thanks, Terry

We recently returned from the Voyager of the Seas. Everyone [it seemed] was using the walkie-talkies but us! Kids to kids/ to parents/ to other adults.... everybody! They rented them onboard the Voyager. Sorry, I don't know how much they cost.... but, it must have been affordable! It seemed like a good way to keep up with everyone. My have we come a long way since "Mr. Watson come here!"
