My husband is 7 ft. tall. What cruise line/ship will best accommodate him? We would like to cruise the Mexican Riviera or up the Western U.S. Coast.

When it comes to things like door heights, bed lengths, etc., all modern cruise ships use pretty much the same standard sizes. In other words, this is no "big and tall" cruise ship out there. I'd suggest a larger ship just because they have more area.

A downside is that you don't have many choices if you limit yourself to sailing out of a west coast port. There just aren't many ships routinely cruising out of California, and even fewer cruises that go up the coast.

I have a friend who is 6' 8". He has cruised before and had no problems because of his height. I imagine this was because he has gotten used to ducking.

Some cruise lines have an extension piece they put on the end of the bed so may be worth asking your TA about what lines do that.
If he can get a suite it may be more comfortable that the standard cabins

Don't know about most lines, but HAL has crusies to the MEX Riviera and Seattle to San Diego. They Have queen beds in Verandah Suite and King in Deluxe Verandah.
We are on the Zaandam to Hawaii (Deluxe Verandah) the end of Nov. The ship is just coming off a Mex Cruise that morning. So it seems they do the Mex cruise between Hawaii runs. Check out the HAL web site hollandamerica.com .
