Opinion: WI-FI on ships

Make sure to give us a report on how it worked when you get back. I have had various "wi-fi" experiences on ships ranging from bad to okay.

Hi Tom,

do you really need constant internet acces on a cruise?

oppis, unfortunately, I seem to be connected to life through my keyboard....VBG. Ecellent Internet access is a huge plus for me, but it isn't a deal breaker if it isn't that good..at lest for now.

I am anxious to hear of the ship wide wi-fi is on Canival. Please do let us know.

I have to agree that when i shut the office door i would like to be able to forget about all the stress involved. I also know that i have not been able to take cruises longer than about 7 days because i cannot be away and disconnected for that long. I do not think i would use it on a 7 day or less cruise, because it is a little bit of an escape, but it would be bennifical on a longer cruise.
