As my cruise chat friends know I have taken 10 wonderful cruises with my sister. After each cruise i would brag and beg my wonderful hubby to please lets take one together and each time he said when I am ready. WELL HE IS READY!
I got very very sick last month, we were not real sure I was going to survive the illness, hsp stays, ICU stay, transfer to a bigger, better hsp and I am on the road to recovery.
He finally realized that maybe we wont have tomorrow. So I booked a cruise for January 31s. A little 5 day ( would have preferred 7 but I am breaking him in slowly) out of Jacksonville.
He will be hooked. I am so excited. Counting down the days.
Macmom, I'm sorry to hear about your recent illness. I hope that's all in the past now, and you have nothing but good things to anticipate -- like your cruise with your husband! You're right that he'll be hooked, like the rest of us.
CONGRATULATIONS macmom111! First, I am so VERY glad to hear you're on the road to recovery. Second, I am so VERY glad to hear your hubby realized he's missing a very important part of your life. Mine may grumble and groan about cruising, but he ALWAYS has a good time, so I am thrilled yours is going to give it a try. I know he will be hooked.
I pray for your continued recovery and that the ICU will continue to stay in your past! What a great way to unwind from the stresses of the holidays
Hi Macmom. Good to hear you're doing better and got your husband to go on a cruise. He'll probably be like me when I started out. I started out with a 4 night cruise, then a 5 night, and my most recent one was a 7 night.

Congratulations macmom, and hope you're feeling well.
Let me be the first to offer my condolences to your sister, who now has to find someone else to cruise with!
I hope your hubby loves it as much as the rest of us here do!
