We are going on a 4 day Baja cruise in december and then taking off to Las Vegas, we have two options in flights, one at noon and one at 2:15 pm..... can anyone give me any insight if the noon flight is too risky?

In think in this case I would err on the side of caution, you never know what's going to happen. The ship might be in on time but traffic may foul things up for you.
I'd rather be 3 hours early for my flight than 5mins late, but that just my option, I'm sure alot of other people will give you other advice too. |
I assume you are going out of Los Angeles, and if that is the case, I would agree with mps69. Although there is a good possibility you could make a noon flight, there are many variables that enter into getting off the ship and then there is always the LA traffic to consider. Go for the 2:15 flight to be safe.

I'm cruising on RCCL Monarch of the Seas next weekend and from everything I've heard from here and the people from RCCL, it has been strongly recommended that I book a flight out of LAX that departs after 1:30pm.
Tim RCCL Mariner of the Seas - Mar 05 NCL Norwegian Dawn - Jun 04 RCCL Mariner of the Seas - Feb 04 Golden Princess - Sep 03 RCCL Vision of the Seas - May 03 RCCL Brilliance of the Seas - Sep 02 NCL Norwegian Star - May 02 |
As the port is quite a distance from LAX, I would agree with Nancy, mps69 and TimT that you should opt for the later flight.

wE LIVE 20 MINUTES FROM lax AND 20 FROM THE pORTS.tRAFFIC IS always IFFY...DON'T STRESS YOURSELF - GO FOR THE LATER FLIGHT!

My wife and I have been on 17 cruises. We both agree that the later flight is your better choice. Not that 12 Noon would not be possible to make, but better safe than sorry.
