Mexican Riviera vs Caribbean

We have been to most of the Large Ship ports in the Carribean. We love it down there. My problem is we are doing a last min type cruise in Dec and the flights to San Juan on the weekend of the 28th are much too high. I was thinking of maybe doing the Mex Rivi(P.V.Cabo& Maz), but we are taking a first time cruise couple with us,do you guys think the Pacific is as nice in Dec as the wonderful Carib?

I love snorkeling, I'm not big on shopping, so the Caribbean is more suited to me. The Pacific is beautiful, but the water is too cold for me to enjoy. Just for an aside, you need to use the "BB" code for your signature.
