I have not seen any great white sharks when I have snorkeled in the Caribbean.
I got my better mask from diversdiscount. Which I can highly recommend.
There was actually nothing wrong with the U.S. Divers mask I had. Until a certain Labrador Retriever got bored one day and figured out how to open the snorkel bag.
A tip I have found useful is to use J&J Baby Shampoo as an anti-fogging agent. It is not as good as the more expensive ones you can get by any means. But it does work in helping to reduce the fogging.

Going on NCL Gem on April 5 to the Bahamas. I understand it will cost $29.00 for rental from NCL for the day. Sams Club just got in mask, snorkel and fins for $29.00. Looks like it's well made. My kids want to snorkel, so I'll just buy them here and then no lines! Also, the issue of their equipment having been in how many mouths! UGH!
