I saw in another post someone said a ship was X% full.....How can you get this info?

At first I was going to say "by how low in the water it sits" but then when you made it clear you were not joking, I figured I would offer a real answer-

There is no "website" that you can find out a true precentage. My TA usually can tell by what rooms are left during booking. But even that is not a true science because blocks of cabins are assigned to online travel sites and other TAs to book out of, so even though a room may be unavailable to your TA or when you go online and try to book, it doesn't mean those cabins have been filled.

Why would you need to know how full a ship is?

You take the number on the pax manifest, divide it on the ship's capacity, multiply with 100 and BANG you got your answer

Raffles: A travel agent should be able to get that information from their cruise line contact. My Carnival Vacation Planner PVP tells me when I ask. No other way to know.

I could see someone being interested in how full a cruise is if they haven't booked yet and want to know if it's selling out.
