Braemar, Carribbean

My mum has just returned from a Carribbean cruise on the Braemar, from Exeter.

She has talked me and my family, we are in our 40,s, children 17,15,13 and 8 to going with her this Christmas.

Are there people our age that go on cruises?
Will the children have enough to do?

Lots of families with children go on cruises. However, I'm not sure whether the "Braemar" is a good ship for children as Fred. Olsen is a rather conservative line. A large American line such as Royal Caribbean or perhaps one of P&O Cruises' ships should be great options, however.
