I just posted on the NCL Board - I am booked on the 1/20/05 NCL Dawn voyage out of NY. I just found out that one of the ports of call onthe original itinerary, tortola, has been dropped off of the schedule. i know the cruise lines reserve the right to do this but it was replaced by a day at sea. Can I expect any remidiation? Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to get compensated for this? i have two small kids and I booked this cruise under the assumption that we would have many opportunities to get off the ship. i am very disappointed.

I have been on many cruises where they have cancelled ports of call or changed ports of call and there is nothing that they will do about it. They will tell you that it's stated in the cruise contract. If it's any consolation, there really isn't very much in Tortola. The biggest attraction there is a bar that sells Pusser's rum. Well... I hope you enjoy your cruise anyhow.
