What line are you cruising on? Different cruise lines have different cabin dimensions. Let me know which line and possible cabin (inside - no window); outside (window or porthole); balcony (self explanatory), and I'll try to help.
I don't know about 'confused' but I am going to be in an inside stateroom on RC Explorer of the Seas with my husband & 2 kids. Do you know how many beds there are, the size (bunk beds or doubles/queen) and whether they fold up during the day?
We stayed in the same type of cabin on the Explorer in December. They have twin beds on the bottom that they can put together for you and your husband. This creates a large bed. We thought that this would be uncomfortable and we would fall through the crack between the beds (this was our 1st cruise) but they make the bed up as one so there is no crack. The upper berths are the size of twin beds that fold up in the day and down for sleeping. The kids can sleep there if they are old enough. Enjoy! The ship is awesome.
