Lori- would you recommend one cruise line over another? I can compare ships on line with RCI and get idea of age, amount of passengers etc. Should I stick with RCI due to past good experiences or try another cruise line?
Well, we usually cruise RCI. We did cruise Princess on the Regal, for a 10 day alaska, because we liked the itinerary. The Regal is one of their oldest ship. We were quite happy with the Regal. This past new years we did our first Carnival on the Paradise, for a 3 night baja mexico cruise. I wanted to cruise RCI, but there dates didn't work with the other couple we were with. We were very unhappy with the "Paradise". We said that was our first and last Carnival cruise. I know we shouldn't judge carnival on only one cruise, on one of there older ships. But we did! We were on RCI and Princess on there older ships, and had a wonderful experience. Anyways, we are sticking with RCI or Princess from now on. I would only go on carnival on a new ship, and only if the price was much lower. These are just my thoughts. I am sure other people will give there thoughts. Good luck. Lil' Lori
I've heard about these travel channel shows. Are they part of a series, and if so, what is the series called? Or are they all independently done programs? I'd like to watch one, one of these days.
Well, I don't think they are part of an official series. It does seem that they usually play them all in a row, for an afternoon. I work every friday, saturday and sunday, 12 hour shifts. So, I get to watch them usually. It seems like they repeat them every 4-6 weeks or so. I like to watch them, its neat to see areas of the ship, you normally are not allowed on. Lil' Lori
For those of you on the west coast and mountain time zone, according to the Travel Channel schedule, Great Cruises-Freedom of the Seas is on at 9PM tonight.
I saw it. I thought it would be somewhat of a cruise-vaccine for me since I am overdue and don't know when the next one will happen. I am worse off now.
