I have read of this natural product which is applied behind the ear, and used instead of the patch. I have found it online, but would prefer to get it myself at a local store. Has anyone used it? If so, is it available at any chain drug stores or superstores? Thanks!
Ellie
SD, I have heard about this product. I have not tried it yet. The only thing I know about it is that it is an herbal oil that is applied behind the ears. Motion sickness begins in the inner ear so I guess this oil stuff absorbs through the skin and reduces symptoms. I have not heard anything negative about it.

SD, a natural remedy is ginger. They have ginger candies in health food stores. People swear by it. Thankfully, I don't get seasick. Another thing I have found to settle a queasy stomach is Angostura bitters with Sprite or 7-Up. All the bars on board should have the bitters, just a few splashes in a Sprite works wonders. I take Nexium and when my stomach is really acting up, the bitters work wonders.
