Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Miami before our cruise???

Hello,

I come from Sweden and have booked a cruise in January with RC's Brilliance of the Seas. We need to get a nice hotel room in Miami and are wondering if anyone could be so kind and recommend a hotel that is nice and clos to the port of departure.

I know there are some hotels closer to the port but we have stayed at the Holiday Inn in South Beach Miami which was nice. It was a $24 cab ride from the airport and $19 cab ride to the pier to catch the cruise ships. It is also right on the beach.

We've stayed at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay and the Hyatt Regency. Both are within walking distance or "People Mover" which is free riding distance to Bayside Marketplace, where you can find touristy things to do, shopping, and many restaurants. Both are very nice hotels, but we enjoyed the Hyatt the most! Beautiful rooms, wonderful service! Restaurants and bars.

Henrik,

Many cruise agents recommend the Holiday Inn in Miami Springs. They pick you up at the airport & also take you to the pier. There is a restaurant on top floor.
