Dave, what great news about Vanessa. I particularly liked the part about her calling YOU to see if you two got home ok! Little glimpses of "normal life" will loom larger and larger, very quickly, it would seem.
I hope she's un-trached and back in Huntsville soon, but it's already remarkable how far she has come. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Dave, Fantastic news! Must be such a great joy to look at your phone and your wife's name comes up!! We take so much for granted! I think everyone of us is touched by your, Jacob, and especially Vanessa's experience, and will look at our loved ones a little differently.

Just back from a wonderful, wonderful cruise and glad to hear such awesome news about Vanessa. I did pray for y'all daily and did enjoy a Rum Runner daily, plus a few other drinks that I had to try. Don't remember who was twisting my arm, but I had to try them. Tell Vanessa to keep up the good work. You and Jacob hang in there.
