Hi Kerri. I just thought of 2 more drinks that are, not only delicious, but an experience to watch the bartender make. First one -- Coco Loco. They lop the top off of a coconut with a machete and make the drink with the juice of the coconut with added liquors. Second -- Pie Eye. Same as coconut, but they use a pineapple. The actual drink is served in the coconut or pineapple with an umbrella and straw. These 2 drinks are deceiving. They are large and strong. Sleep tight ! A'ndrea

Ooh, Andrea! Those sound so yummy! Where do I get them - on the islands?

PS - This is Kerri - I changed my name!

Hi Kerri. Yes, I know definitely in Nassau you will find both drinks. We also had them in Cozumel and in Cancun. Just request it with the bartender and he'll be more than happy to oblige. It's a show in itself just watching them be prepared. Not to mention, they are sweet and delicious. Enjoy ! A'ndrea

Can I get any of these drinks in St. Maarten too? I have quite a list for Nassau - I don't want to get too wasted at the first stop!

I definitely ESPECIALLY want to try the Coco Loco and the Pie Eye. Can I get those in St. Thomas or St. Maarten?

Kerri, I haven't cruised to either of those 2 islands yet. They're on my next to-do cruise agenda. I would say request them in both ports and see what happens. I believe both are made with rum. A'ndrea

I don't have a favorite Island Drink.. I like them all

However, the wife's favorite is actually on the ship... Carnival's "Kiss on the lips".. some form of daiquiri.. but she isn't a drinker normally, but she'll consume several of these..

OK, everyone, thanks for your help! I've got all these drinks written down in my little notebook for the 4 of us to try. We leave tomorrow, I can't even believe it! Thanks again! Cheers!

Kerri - have a great cruise! On the ship, try a "BBC". Tastes like a banana mudslide. For an interesting "shot" I won't ask you to try a "duck fart." LOL
