Are we talking about the ship or not wearing the underwear?

You mean "going commando"? It would save on packing space.

We usually do some initial packing of basics a week prior to the cruise, then pack the clothes starting 3 days prior to our departure date, with things that don't need ironing being first and the suits, shirts, slacks, dresses, etc., being put in the bag on "T Minus One" day. Sorry, but my whole life has been structured with needs for plans and precise execution of things. It is really the best way to do things. We also use checklists and have these peer-checked by each other to ensure nothing has been overlooked. This last item was not normally done but became necessary after the great "Razor Incident" of the 2004 Mariner cruise.

I usually "prepack" as I call it a week or 2 before the cruise. This is where I pick my outfits out, then I put them away. About a week before, I print off my packing list, that I have on my computer desktop. That really helps me alot. I actually pack, depending on my work scheduled, usually 1-3 nights before we go. I gotta go with Dave on this! I once thought everything was perfectly packed. Got to 7 Mile and negotiated a great deal for a (non reccomended) Jet Ski.

Wifey says, wait Honey I want to CamCord you. No battery! I had tried to charge both the batteries and left them home during the excitement and haste.

I also left my dress pants in the dryer at home once and had to buy a new pair at K-Mart on St. Thomas. That was a walk to remember
