Sea Music

No words can describe it
The lure of the sea.
Its life and its legends
Are calling to me.

The exquisite memories
Of voyages abide,
All manner of vessels
On oceans so wide.

The vast open vistas,
The salty sea breeze,
The wildness of sea waves,
These things all must please.

The winds of the gale
Exerting their grip,
Ther lash of the tempest,
Waves shaking the ship.

The soft silver sunrise
And the gold clouds at night,
The sky full of diamonds
Each sparkling and bright.

The sea is the setting
For love and romance,
The orchestra's playing
So come to the dance!
