With an added verse

Sea Thoughts

When the balmy breeze blows gently
And the azure sky is bright,
A day upon the tranquil seas
Is my secret heart's delight.

From the silver of the sunrise
To the sunset's shining gold,
I think of sailors on the waves
And the stories often told.

From the fabled loife of Sinbad
To brave Jason's Argonauts,
To Captain Hook and Maby Dick,
Those tales are in my thoughts,

From the natives of the south Seas
To the whalers in the North,
From Colombus to the Pilgrims
When their tiny ships set forth.

From the Spanish ships with treasure
And the pirates on their trail,
And the British Man o Wars
All racing through the gale.

I know the sea is in my soul
I can feel it deep inside.
The thing that is my life's delight
Is to cruise on ocean's tide.

Thank you for that lovely escape, I was for a few minutes sitting on my balcony watching the sunset......
