Well after almost 30 years together, my husband finally agreed to cruise!! We are going in February to the Bahamas. I am hoping beyond hope that he will love it and want to go again and again. How could he NOT love cruising? I mean really.

Pam, congratulations! People who have never been on a cruise never picture it correctly, and are almost always so pleasantly surprised. I think you and your husband will have a fantastic time. When you leave the ship, he's going to say, "When do you want to do another cruise?"

Which ship are you going to sail? We were on the Valor in May, she's a great ship. Does he like to eat? We had some wonderful dinners on board, the fish and chips were great for lunch. They had a burrito bar and a deli, too. And, of course, I had the chocolate melting cake every night http://bestsmileys.com/thumbs/7.gif They had a good size gym area, a decent sized casino area, great entertainment, loads of fun things to do. The spa looked wonderful, too. They offered every type of treatment you could think of. They had a barber shop and a beauty salon.

I do enjoy my hubby going with me, too. But I cruise a lot by myself, and I can't complain about that either. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

We enjoyed the fish and chips on the Valor as well. And of course, the chocolate melting cake is the best.
