I always say the President of the United States works out of his home, Accountants, Real Estate, Beauticians, Day Cares, all have home offices. Why can't a Travel Agent. Many of them probably have more certifications than some of those working in big offices, and definitely more than most of the reservation agents that work direct for the cruise lines and the big 800# online agencies.

This is all new to me, so I was surprised that the two names that popped up worked from home. I did email one of them, but I haven't heard back.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Our agent works out of her house, but still has an office where we can stop in and ask question. We just book with her by e-mails all the time. Also we have found out that by going thru an agent they can get you rooms that do not show up when you try booking online yourself. The past two cruises we found that there were no good outside cabins, but when I asked my agent to check, she found lots of rooms available. I was inform that what happens is that these travel companies have these rooms pre-book and can only see and book these rooms for you. We have also used CAA a lot and they are also very good. You can get some great deals with them, not all the time.

I forgot to point out, I am a IT computer analyst and I work from home, but still have an office in our office building.
