we prefer a large table for dining because we enjoy meeting people. the last 2 cruises we have been at a table for just my sister and I. Is there anyway we can request a larger table before the cruise? we go to the matre de and he changes us the 2nd day but we would really like to have a larger table to begin with.

The last time we cruised with Traditional dining we could choose the size of table
I would log in to the cruise line site Already Booked section & see what they have as choices we could also ask for the bedding arrangement we prefer

That is why we like the open dining we get to meet new people every night

I like the open dining, too. When we go down, they ask if you want to share. We always say yes, and get to meet different people each night. If you find some that you really enjoy their company, you can always arrange to meet them for dinner again.

Are you using a TA, macmom111? I know when I've booked directly with Princess, they've asked me what table size we prefer when we have to do traditional dining. We opt for 6 or 8.
