Sea Yearning
I wish that I could be out on a ship today And to follow the lure of the sea. To float on the blue where the dolphins play Is the thing most appealing to me. To feel the light touch of the warm salt breeze As I cruise on the soft soothing tide, I yearn for the essence and soul of the seas And the caress of ocean so wide. The love of the ocean is deep in my heart And is found in the souls of all men, So I wish for the day I can once more depart And be back on the sea once again! Paul B |
As usual, beautifully said, Paul; you put into words the thoughts and feelings of most of us here.

Wonderful, Paul. You read my mind...and put it into words more eloquently than I ever could.

Well put Paul, I would love to be there right now with my wife by my side looking out from our balcony at the beautiful ocean and waiting to port in a warm, sunny island location.

Thanks Paul, for another brilliant poem. You sure know how to make us yearn for the sea. I also read your other awesome poem on John's Blog this evening and enjoyed it as well.

Paul...You have Me wishing I were once again standing next to the rail of a ship...outbound to anywhere...so long as I am at sea and"shipping out""!
Thank You for this verbal gift! Happy Holidays, BillyBuzzy |
