Thoughts For A Hot Day

When the weather's very hot,
And there's nothing cool to choose,
Then, the coolest thing I know
Is leaving on a cruise.

When the asphalt starts to melt.
And your eggs get fried outside,
There's nothing like an ocean breeze
And a gentle calming tide.

When the sun glows fiery hot,
And no clouds are to be seen,
The place for you is by the pool
On some fabled ocean queen.

When the AC coughs and dies,
And your fans just move he heat,
An evening dancing on the deck
Is the thing that can't be beat.

So leave the burning heat behind,
And embark on waves so blue.
For sailing's in your secret heart,
And to your heart be true.
