We have cruised several times and this time are going to take some bottled water on board. We are leaving 9-9-12 on Carnival Magic. Is it better to put it in the carry on luggage or have it in the suitcase?
Here is an excerpt from Carnival's official policy:
"On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less."
Totally agree. We never buy water!!! The water on the ship taste great and have not been a problem with us. Its a big waste of money buying bottle water.
We drink the ships water while on board, but we need the convenience of bottled water once we get off the ship. If I am going to have to bring empty bottles on board, I might as well bring full ones. I'm used to buying bottled water at home. If I bring my own, it is still cheaper than buying the ships water. Thanks all for the info.
Actually my wife and I discussed that very situation. We have a large water bottle that fits in a carnival insulated holder. That's what we decided to do. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
