Bermuda To Allow Cruise Ship Casinos To Open
Good news for gamblers: Bermuda has passed a law allowing cruise ships to open the casinos at night. They are limited to 9pm to 5am hours. Ships holding 2000 or more guests will pay a fee to Bermuda. Smaller ships are exempt from the fee.

I know lots of the New Yorkers complain that the casino isn't open. This was probably necessary for RCCL to agree to bring the Quantum there next year.

I think when they rolled out the Quantum in NYC they had Bermuda officials there too, and not just as an 'oh, by the way' thing. Same for when Norwegian Breakaway was named, and they had the Prime Minister give some remarks. The skids were greased.
