Check out this video of a cruise ship expieriencing rough seas, and feel very lucky you never expierience something like that on your cruise(s):
Rough seas on a cruise ship

Now that's what I call rockin' and a rollin'.

What I don't understand is, rough seas like that don't just suddenly happen unless it's a rogue wave; there must have been some kind of run-up to that kind of turmoil. Why was that room even open and why wasn't everything secured?

Doesn't look like a cruise ship to me... looks more like a ferry type vessel. I can understand the chairs not being secured, but I have never seen a cruise ship where the tables were not bolted down. I agree with f-mattox, they should have known they were going to be getting into seas that big, they should have secured things.

I saw this on Inside Edition last week before it went viral. The odd thing is the people in the room in the distance at the middle top of the video. They act like nothing is going on. Looks like they are playing a table game or something and could care less. All's I know is I don't want to be on a cruise like that.

It was scary enough when the Glory listed running away from an approaching storm. Everything fell off of the shelves at the lido bar, and the water came out of the pool washing all the deck tables and chairs to the railing. Forget a Dramamine, I'd need a Valium after something like that!

I found another video from the same incedent. I suppose this may have happened 2 years ago (if the date they provide is correct). If so, I wonder why it took so long before this video "went viral" and became famous (infamous?).

Anyway, this other video seems to show the CCTV (survelence) video inside the dinning room of the ship. I think this video is even more dramatic/shocking than the previous one. You decide: Rough seas on a cruise: Part 2
