Thanks Nancy and Tom you have been a big help.I have been listening to boards from people who have been saying that Key west is around 70 degress and people were wearing coats on deck and the deck through the whole trip. Maybe it is chilly this time of the year and in Feb it starts to warm up.My wife keeps telling me not to worry that everywhere it is unusally cold this year and by next year everything will be fine. I'm just the one planning everything so I'm hoping everything goes fine and the weather is fine.

Grady,
Follow your wife's advice. Florida has experienced an unusually cold spell (as has much of the US), but since your cruise is a long way away - don't borrow trouble. On a cruise my daughter and I took a few years ago in January, it turned out to be the coldest day on record in Key West and the residents were even wearing hats, scarves and gloves. But,it was a phenomenon that only lasted 2 days and when I returned 1 week later it was very warm and sunny. However, on the other hand, what I wouldn't give for a 70 degree day - sounds almost summerlike!
Nancy
