Has anyone done a Pacific Coast repositioning cruise from Vancouver down in September? We're looking at this as an alternative to flying round-trip on a visit to family in Seattle next year?
I've been from Vancouver to L.A. several times at the end of the Alaskan season. I think it would make a terrific alternative to a flight. They don't usually make any stops--it's just 3 days at sea; but that's 3 very nice days. Was there anything in particular you were curious about?
Not looking for anything in particular - just wondering if anyone thought it was a crazy idea - like "don't waste your time" or something along those lines. I figure it would be worth it just to get a meal on the ride home ... not to mention not losing my luggage.
Yeah - we'd be going to visit family in the Olympia / Seattle area. I like to go in September so we can do the Puyallup Fair . . . for whatever reason, I really enjoy that fair. It just seems like the times fall into place. I almost have DH convinced it would fun to fly up - sail back.
