smaller ships vs mega ships

Sonny, hopefully your wife will appreciate the company on Radiance to make up for it.

I love the Vision Class, only went on one Voyager class, and although I managed to have a good time, I thought THAT ship was too big.

I am looking forward to the Radiance seems like the best of both worlds to me. My first Celebrity I chose the Century, it's too bad janfred and I will miss one another.

I still plan on another Windstar too, that is a very different experience, but one I enjoyed a whole bunch.

Two of my most favorite cruises were on small ships. Windstar cruises - "Windsong" in Tahiti, only 148 passengers, and Avalon Tranquility, Christmas Market cruise on Danube, only 108 passengers. Both cruises sooooooo relaxing.

One of the best parts of smaller ships is disembarking at ports. No long lines using up your port time.

Our last cruise was on the HAL Zuiderdam - with less than 2000 pax. While I prefer the smaller HAL ships, I was OK with this bigger size. Tablemates had only had experience with the smaller, luxury lines and Windstar. They were always commenting on how large the ship was and on how many people there were... I'm not sure that I would like a "mega" ship; I know my husband absolutely refuses to even consider one.
