food quality on Freedom of the Sea

doing research and heard the quality of food on this ship and other RCC ships is consiidered poor, fact or fiction
is there a cruise line that has the best food quantity and variety?
Husband and I have not been cruising together in 10 years and want this to be ther start of more freq cruising

Hi PamP, welcome to Cruise-Chat.

Food is a very subjective thing, what I think is wonderful you might hate. Our resident RCCL expert, SonnyV has been on over 50 cruises with RCCL and has always said the food was wonderful. I've cruised 3 times on RCCL and the food I have had on their ships was far superior to the food I had on Celebrity. My preference is Princess. I think their food is fantastic, but you might not.

RCCL has a great product, their ships are very clean, and their service is very good. Rave reviews have come back from Oasis of the Seas. Which ship were you looking at?

She's a beauty! You should have great weather that time of year, too. We've done many cruises late October/early November and have been very lucky with fantastic weather.

We will be on the Freedom Thanksgiving week. In my opinion, Royal Caribbean food is top notch.
