carry on bags

just wondering if a carry on bag that is 22" long x141/2" wide is to big for carry on. Also carrying on a hanging garment bag.

As long as it will fit in a standard x-ray machine it is fine. The bag you describe is not a problem.

Are you talking about carrying on the ship or plane? If ship, they should be ok. They do have to fit through a security screening just like the airlines. If your hanging bag is one of the smaller, soft folding type it should be ok.

I don't know which port you embarking at but at Ft Lauderdale last year there was one agent that wouldn't let us board with that size bag & we had to check it. We've been there 3 times since without any problems & gone right through the security check-in without any question.
