it depends. As far as "brochure rates" go, Oceania is significantly more expensive than e.g. Celebrity and HAL, which tend to be not much more expensive than the big standard market lines. However, Oceania has regular specials including 2-for-1 rates, sometimes even with air included.
indeed, Disney has premium prices, but I would nonetheless not consider them a premium line.
Many smaller niche operators have higher prices than the mainstream lines, yet that doesn't necessarily make their products any better. It's actually like comparing apples with oranges.
Hmmm, maybe we should include more categories? Like sailing, river boats, niche small ship? I didn't want to try to do too many the first time and simply selected the major contenders thinking that some of the smaller lines probably would not garner the votes necessary to win the category. What do you think?
Starting out with just the 3 categories you have is a good idea. If there is lots of response, then perhaps later on we could do a poll on other categories, such as luxury, sailing, river cruises, small ships, etc.
