We just got back from our first cruise. We were on the Independance Of the Seas doing the 4 day cruise to Ireland. 4 days was way too short. There was so much to do. It was all wonderful and the service excellent. We never cruised before, now we know what we missed. Now we are getting ready for the QM2 in October!

Well going on the QM2 on our second cruise is nice becuase we are emigrating to the USA and we thought we'd never have a second chance so we went for it. My wife's Aunt emigrated on the Queen Elizabeth in 1948 so its worked out well.

Congratulations barney65, and welcome home! I am so glad to hear you had a marvelous experience. I can only imagine the QM2 to be even better. You're right 4 days just isn't log enough. Best wishes for your immigration, too! Can't wait to hear a report back from your QM2 cruise

Still trying to get my "land legs" back! Although there was little to no movement on the ship. These ships are so wonderful you don't feel like you are on a ship! Everyone was so friendly including passengers. I think we are now cruise fans!
