Grady, I have sailed on both the Enchantment and the Imagination. Personally, I would pick the Enchantment hands down for decor, service and overall ambiance. But, it might help if you share the age range of the group and what kind of environment/experience you are seeking. If you want a non-stop party atmosphere with lots of bar activity - go with one of the Carnival ships. Please provide a little more info on the group and I will be happy to provide a more definitive response.

I stand by my original recommendation - The Enchantment.

Hi Grady,
I have to agree with Nancy. "Enchantment of the Seas" is by far the more innovative ship - and even more so the "new" post-stretch "Enchantment". "Imagination" is a fine ship (although as a European, I don't particularly like that kitschy Farcus design), but she is a first-generation superliner (her general design dates back to 1986!) while the pre-stretch "Enchantment of the Seas" is a second-generation superliner. |
