I just booked a family cruise on NCL leaving NYC in May. (very excited!) Does anybody know what kind of seas we should expect during that time of year? I know it can always change, but just the "normal" sea activity. It is a NY to Bahamas cruise.

Congratulations on your up-coming cruise! Normally, you should experience 3-6' seas until you get close to the Bahams, then they should calm down a bit. The ships all have stabilizers on them now, so you shouldn't be bothered with too much motion. However, if there's a storm, everything can change in a moment's notice. The captain will do his best to sail around the storms, though.
