Due to the economy and finances, I have only booked one cruise for this year. I am still saving for the balance owed. It is the Carnival Dream on her inaugural cruise from her home port of Port Canaveral. I have to cruise during the calendar year or I'll go completely bonkers. And, I can't resist a new class of ship.
Our upcoming cruises are in my signature. As for the next one, we'll be cruising from Greenwich to Dover, with calls in England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Guernsey. We booked it about 15 months in advance, and it is our only cruise for 2009, as well as the first in nearly a year.
We're sort of doing what Janfred is, only in reverse. We don't do much of the Caribbean anymore (saw most of it in our first 15 years of cruising) and are now exploring Europe. It means cruising less frequently, though. A lot less frequently.
My next planned cruise is on the Oasis of the Seas which is in October 2010 so I have to hold out until then. But at least it is something to look forward to. Would love to cruise more but times are getting hard.
Not booked - just dreaming. Family with bad health and grandkids scattered has our travel plans on hold, but we are going on Carnival Conquest next, maybe next year or in 2011. Grand Caymen, Montego Bay and Cozumel....looks fun!
I just found a ridiculous price on a Boston to Bermuda on NCL spirit.
OBC and gratuities prepaid....If somone doesn't talk me down from the ledge soon I may have to jump for it....
It just happens to fall on the week that I put in for my summer vacation...
