Does anyone know of a screensaver or software I can run on my laptop to simulate a portal? I just want something I can glance at in the middle of the night an know that it is 3:00am and not 3:00pm. I know there is a tv channel I can watch that has a camera-view, so I may have to live with that.

Thanks!

Most of the newer ships have in-cabin TV's and one channel that carries ship's info. Part of that info is often a bridge-cam that shows the view from the bow of the ship. However, that picture is not on all the time; on my last cruise I had to wait several minutes for it to cycle through to the view. In an inside cabin, I was glad to have even that!
