My husband and I just got back. Find a restaurant called Casa Denis. My husband and I asked several of the locals where they would recommend, and this was the response every time. The cafe is small, and the waiter seemed to be offended at my poor attempt to speak Spanish, but the food is AWESOME! We got there early and had already eaten breakfast, so we didn't eat much. We had 2 beef tacos, 1 shrimp taco, 1 pork taco, an order of fried bananas, and 2 drinks. Our bill was about $10. The beef tacos were on homemade soft tortillas with diced onions and salsa on the side. The shrimp had a creamy sauce, and the pork had pickled onions. The fried bananas were not as sweet as normal bananas, but not as bitter as plantains. We will definitely eat there again if we get back to Cozumel!

Is Pancho's Backyard in Cozumel owned by the same people as Pancho's Backyard in Dania, FL?

I don't know, but I doubt it. I think the Cozumel Pancho's are owned by Los Cincos Soles, and the one in Dania just happens to have the same name (probably on purpose). The one in Dania has a pretty extensive menu though. I'll have to check them out next time I am in the area.

Hey We're stopping in Key West on our cruise. Haven't been there in years. Looking forward to it.

Can one of you super intelligent guys (or gals) tell me why cruise ships always leave in the early afternoon? Is it a Port rule?

We're planning on just walking around town. I've seen housesd and bars!! Anything else good to see? What about the aquarium...is it nice? Let me know.
