There are rumors in the media that NWA may file for bankruptcy next month. If this happens, does anyone know what will happen to the RT airline tickets we have for Feb. 06? Will we just be out the money and have to start over? Will other airlines step in and accomodate NW passengers? I looked up similiar itineraries on other airlines today and the tickets are about 3 times more that what we bought ours for last March. I am anxious to hear what happened to others that may have been in this situation before. Thanks!

Several airlines have filed for bankruptcy in recent years, including major U.S. carriers such as United Airlines and US Airways. Yet, these airlines have continued their operations. Of course one never knows.
