Well you guys just know everything! Thanks...so I suppose we are in that window which is why we paid the whole thing. Anyway....I'm still going to try to get a room closer to the middle of the ship...although this ship has VERY FEW interior rooms that aren't in the ends of the ship!

Again, knowing now that you are looking for a cabin midship, your odds are now decreasing again. Those fill up first because everyone thinks there is less motion in the middle of the ship. I wouldn't worry about it too much if this is your reason for wanting to move. The size of the ships we cruise on now makes the difference in motion between the midship cabins and those on the ends not truly noticeable. You have to be in seas that are pretty bad to be able to a difference and if that it that case, no matter where you are located, you are going to feel motion.

Jim, yes, they fill up faster. CCL has even changed the mid-ship cabins to different categories. I have to book early to get a choice one.

Yes we are in 5023 on HAL Eurodam...near the front. I've never been up front like that- all due to a last minute decision to take an "inexpensive" cruise. And being our first time in an interior cabin doubles my fears of "smooth sailing"....
