Can this be possible, well I guess it can, but gosh,I thought it would be more expensive going through the cruiseline itself. Hmm. Her total was about 2,500 more than the cruiseline. If I book w/the cruiseline, does this include transfers from the plane to the port?

By the way, we are taking our teenagers (18 and 19) is the Liberty a good choice for them? Do you recommend a certain ship or cruiseline for teenagers? I really need a teen disco for them or something like that. Also, do they allow them into the shows?? Thanks for your help!!

Wow, $2500 seems like an awfully huge diference. Are you sure it was for the same cruise package??
Did you tell your TA you had called??

I have called Princess many times myself to book cruises. You can get everything included in the deal as long as you mention it.
Even now I may call just to see what the price will be & then have the TA check it out & book.
Sometimes the TA knows some ins & outs to get a better deal too.

Another was to save money sometimes is to book your own air. Again this can vary on when & where you fly. For example going to Florida/San Juan I can always find better pricing. But. for Europe not usually so. Especially if you have a different location for embarkation & disembarkation.

Good Luck http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

I have never been on the Liberty so cannot help there. However most teens I know love to cruise. Most ships do offer centers & activities.

I'm wondering if your TA might have been including your flights in the price she quoted, not to mention transfers, and perhaps insurance as well (which is always a good idea to consider purchasing). By all means tell her you called the cruise line and the amount you were quoted there. I have no doubt she will be able to match the price, and perhaps even find one a bit lower. Do give her the chance.

Regarding the program for your teenagers. Actually since they are 18 and 19 they will be permitted to be in the adult disco, casino and all other entertainment venues onboard unescorted. Although you have to be 21 to drink alcohol, for all other purposes they are considered adults.

Thanks so much for everyones reply. I do have another question now, about the casino's and disco, my kids can do that? Wow, they would love that. I was told they would be kicked out at a certain time and that they wouldn't do the casino. Hmm. I can't keep up! http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
About the pricing, yes, it was the airfare that she put in and the cruiseline did not, sillyme!! thanks again so much!!

That doesn't sound right...better check again. I just made arrangements and my travel agent was $500 less than RCC including airfare.
