we're sailing next week on this ship and wanted to know what we can do to make sure it's a pleasant experience. I've read some negative reviews (after we booked) about service and the food. I know you can't expect 5 star food when you're feeding 3,000 people but how bad is bad? What is the earliest we can board the ship? We're going to San Juan two days before we sail and can arrive at the port anytime. I appreciate any advice. Thx.

As you are spending 2 days in San Juan before the cruise - I hope you get this message before you leave - I have been on Adventure recently and found the food to be good (not outstanding, but there was a nice variety, well prepared). You should be able to get onboard anytime after noon. Security checks and check-in run pretty smoothly from San Juan. Have Fun!
