We sailed our first cruise on the Elation in January 2007, and then our second on the Elation in March 2007 and the on Royal Carb. in August 2007 and we have booked family cruise for 10 on the Sensation in December 2007. I think we caught the disease. This is so much fun wish someone would of told me sooner hahah! We are wanting to book another cruise for 08 out of one of the Florida ports maybe for a week any suggestions. Thanks and I enjoy all your replies1

You are now an addict....it only gets worse...but the treament is so wonderful...Just book another cruise and the feeling goes away...at least until you come back home...
I did 3 cruises in 6 months last year, but I'm just a rookie addict...only 18 cruises...19 coming up...and probably Alaska again in June.

Welcome to the Group...

Wish I lived closer to Florida because I'd love to do a cruise a month. Just dreaming. You are lucky that you have had the chance to go as often as you have. Just give us folks who don't get to go updates so it will seem like we cruised also.

Memasue, I think you have caught the bug. But it's a great bug to have. I like cruising out of Port Canaveral, FL. It's very easy to get in and out from. Not in a big city, yet very close to Orlando. This is from the point of view of driving to the port.

Well I've done five this year with one more scheduled in December.

Guess I have a problem too.

Well yes you are an addict…

How can you know it??

If your answer is yes to just one of the following questions you are, in effect, an addict:

1. Are crazy enough to consider booking a future cruise with one of the TA that the ship have on customer relations?

2. Do you dream about your experiences on the cruise at least one week after getting off the ship?

3. Do you look on the internet on the www.carnival.com for a future cruise date even knowing you just got out off a ship the day before?

4. Do you talk to people about your cruise and end the conversation with “I hope I was at this moment on the cruise ship”?

5. Do you talk to other people and recommend them to take a cruise for a future vacation?

Well the first step to all addiction is to accept it,

So what to do now?

Since you got the fever here is the best prescription…another cruise,

Here is what an cruise addict can do, in order to fix the problem:

Go to the phone and call carnival and ask them about past guest free upgrades and book one for next year and call the doctor in the morning …
After that you will be feeling like a new person enjoying your life like a kid on Christmas
Only trouble you will have is that many people will not understand what are you talking or why do you like cruising… just ignore them they are the potential cruiser of the future, but until then you cannot do anything for them…
Welcome to this world you will not regret it

My name is Casanova and yes I am a cruise addict

Memasue, You could have worse addictions! The only downfall from this addiction is TIME and MONEY. If you have both, your good to go.
I too, cruised on the Elation for the first time, this year, and admittedly, am now an addict.
Do you think there was something in the water?
We took another one on the Inspiration in Aug>doing another one on the Inspiration in 19 days and Have a southern caribean cruise in april of 2008,for my B-day.
So,as you can see, your not the only addict.
I told my wife the other day, aside from all the obvious and wonderful reasons for cruising- I love the feeling of being isolated and away from everyone and everything. All day to day, daily problem are left behind. That's something I've never experienced and that's what does it for me. Happy Cruising!!!

Memasue-The only known cure for your addiction is to take in as much of the "Motion Of The Ocean" as you can! Something which all our shipmates on this website understand and share! Isn't it great??

Bon Voyage!
