At 9pm central time tonight (that would be 10pm eastern, 8pm mountain, and 7pm pacific) The Travel Channel will air "Why Not The Mexican Riviera" which shows a recent cruise by the Mariner Of The Seas. I've got the DVR set!

I watched it Dave. It was great to see the "behind thescenes" stuff. I fast forwarded through the "fluff" of the family adventures they had in between. I know from experience that the things they showed them doing (all private tours) is beyond the budget of most cruisers, so I dismissed much of what they did. (Like the private skating lessons on the ice rink... come on...really) But it was really nice to see the inner workings of the ship especially after having sailed on her.

I'm sure they'll air it again. 9pm is way too late for me, I'm sawing logs by then Hopefully, some night on the weekend when I get up at 5:30am instead of 3:30.
We have a friend who went on the Mariner a few times when it sailed out of Port Canaveral. They sailed with the HOG group. Did you notice Capt Johnny riding his? I'll have to ask our friend if Capt Johnny was the Capt when he went on the HOG cruises.
Unfortunately Time Warner took my Travel Channel away. I'll check to see if they are going to have it on their site. They had the last one there commercial free. Might as well make use of having Road Runner, I pay enough for it. I'm trying to learn more about the RCI ships.
Cocoa Cay is RCI's private island. NCL's private island is Great Stirrup Cay.
Being they are so close to each other I wonder if any passengers have tried to get from one island to the other? It looks to be 1000 yards or so separation at some points.
